The arch at the middle of Tehran is drawn as one curve dropped between two splayed legs, which is exactly how the real thing works, and the needle beside it is the thinnest stroke in the drawing.
What is in the drawing
A low arcaded shrine opens the left, three small pointed minarets over it and an arched portal cut into the front. A second shrine front follows with three pointed caps and a scalloped arch beneath. An arch monument holds the center, drawn as one wide curve hung between two legs that splay to the ground. A very thin needle rises past it from a broad foot. A mosque follows with four thin minarets, a small dome between them and a zigzag arcade at its base. Two banded towers close the right over a low run of arches.
Mug or canvas
Runs long at 2.259 where a mug prints 2.14, so it settles low on the wrap with clearance above the needle. Ink of 0.082 is light and the zigzag under the mosque is the closest of it, so 24 by 16 upward.
