Just One Line Art Embrace simplicity

The deal, in plain words.

These terms apply when you order from Just One Line Art. We have written them to be read rather than skipped.

Placing an order

Adding something to your basket is not an order. Your order exists once payment goes through, and our confirmation email is us accepting it.

We can decline an order. That is rare, and the reasons are honest ones: we cannot make the item, the address is one we cannot ship to, the payment looks fraudulent, or a price was listed wrong by an obvious margin. If we decline after taking payment, you get all of it back.

Prices and postage

All prices are in United States dollars. Postage is $7.99 per order, added at checkout and shown to you before you pay. It is charged once however many mugs you buy. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee, which is between you and them.

Prices can change, but never after you have ordered. What you paid is what you agreed to.

Colors and sizes

The mug colors on a product page are screen approximations of glazed ceramic. They are not color managed, and no screen can be. Treat them as a guide to which mug you want rather than as a color match.

The drawings are printed as a single hairline. Line weight and placement carry a small printing tolerance, so treat the mockup as a faithful representation rather than a millimeter-exact one. Our returns page says where that tolerance ends and a fault begins.

Sizes are 11oz and 15oz, and the design is the same on both. The 15oz is a taller mug rather than a wider print.

Delivery

We ship to the United States and nowhere else. Every mug is printed after you order, so allow 5 to 15 business days in total, made up of the time in production and the rest in transit.

Those are estimates, not guarantees, and once a parcel is with the carrier its timing is out of our hands. If a mug has to arrive by a particular date, order with room to spare and tell us the date so we can flag it.

Care

Dishwasher and microwave safe. Wear that appears after months of dishwasher use is ordinary use rather than a fault. A print that starts lifting in the first few washes is a fault, and the returns page covers it.

If something goes wrong

Our returns and refunds page sets out what we do about a mug that arrives broken, faulty, wrong or not at all, and what happens if you change your mind. It forms part of these terms.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where those Acts give you more than these terms do, they win.

Our designs

The drawings, lettering and photography on this site are ours. You are buying the mug, not the right to reproduce the design, and that includes reselling the artwork or the images.

What we are responsible for

If we get your order wrong we put it right, as the returns page describes. Beyond that our liability is limited to what you paid for the order.

We do not accept liability for an occasion missed because a carrier was slow, which is why we ask you to order early and tell us the date.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction. If you bought as a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away the protections your own country gives you.
